Lakshya is a national level technical festival, conceived in 2011 as a platform for engineering students to showcase their skills and knowledge.

A 3-day technical fest.

The second version of the technical fest held at the college in 2013. A 3-day program was conducted by the college union. The festival included technical events, general events, gaming, exhibitions and a cultural night.

Lakshya'13 events included hardware and software design contests, paper presentations, quiz, and technical talks.

The third version of the techno-cultural fest of Government Engineering College, Kozhikode held 31 March – 2 April. Fest included general events, gaming,technical events, fun events, exhibitions and cultural night. The cultural night include DJ war, hip-hop, and battle of bands.

Entering into its third year in 2018, Lakshya 2018 continued to expand on previous editions and created milestones of its own. Previous editions of Lakshya saw participation from a number of colleges in Kerala as well as outside
